Artist’s Statement
I have an antagonistic feeling about ART. I distrust it but there is little else I would like to do (except walk outside, sleep or make love) in this kind of society based in money making. In ART I hate the power of publicity, which is as strong as the power of money.
In my own art I try to mirror my feelings and thoughts mostly about society, but also sometimes about nature. I use mostly photographic processes in my work. I like them - they are fast, cheap and simple to use. I think photographs are close to poems, they compress ideas in a rather surrealistic way.
Or I use video - in a simple way, just because it is moving. In ART I don´t like illusions - our human reality is illusory as it is. This is the reason why I make documentary films too.
