Artist’s Statement
My sculptures are mostly abstract and a important feature is the empty space between the masses and the contrast they make together. The strong feel of material, the variation of raw and worked on surface, is the basics of my expression.
As materials i use mostly stone, steel and bronze. In bronze i often work with freely modelled figures on top of the abstract works.
I do all the welding, carving and bronze casting etc. by my self as i find all sides of sculptor´s work interesting and important in order to know your material well
