Sintra Arte Publica, International Sculpture-exhibition in The Historical Center of the city of Sintra in Portugal until the end of 2019.
Material: Estremoz marble.
I have created the sculpture in connection of Finland´s 100 Years of Independency Celebrations.
Hundred years ago Finland declared it´s Independency from the Russia (Soviet Union).
When the ice break in the sea, a Railo - an empty space between the two ice floes is generated.
The force of evolution pushed the two countries apart.
The two states departed from each other and Finland started it´s own journey as an independent state.
