Artist’s Statement
I am a multidisciplinary artist living and working at an old farm in Reitkalli, Hamina. My artistic practice follows the seasons as I work and observe the 1,5 hectars surrounding our house. I grow and forage a lot of the materials I use in my work myself. The daily dialogue with the plants and the countryside nature in a manner that is sustainable is a constant inspiration for me.
