Artist’s Statement
I am a Visual Artist and I mainly paint with pigments and ink. I also use dried plants in my paintings.
The mystery of life, the viability and dignity of all beings, are the premise of my art and my thinking process. Art is like breathing or meditation, in which I work and process my own life, but also my experience as an outsider trying to find my place in the world. During those explorations I often end up in the flowing and wavering world of fairytale, imagination, and dream, wherein the limits of reality extend and the impossible comes attainable. Sort of like it isn't my word anymore, but still is. I suspect that, it is the shared world of the painting, the viewer, and myself.
