Artist’s Statement
I was born in 1969 in Valkeakoski, Finland. At present I'm living and working in Sastamala, Finland. I graduated in 1994 from Imatra School of Art. I have since worked as a visual artist and have held numerous solo, group and joint exhibitions in Finland. The medium I mostly work with is oil and acrylic paint and pastel and photograph.
I'm a member of Finnish Painters' Union and Tampere Artists' Association. Since 1998 I have taught painting and drawing in different Adult Education Centres. In 2004 I graduated from postgraduate studies (BA) in Tampere Polytechnic University of Applied Sciences, School of Art and Media.
I'm a charter member of Avarataide Artists' Association and currently I'm acting as a chairman. Gallery Ronga is an art gallery in Tampere held by AvaraTaide.
I'm a member of Finnish Painters' Union and Tampere Artists' Association. Since 1998 I have taught painting and drawing in different Adult Education Centres. In 2004 I graduated from postgraduate studies (BA) in Tampere Polytechnic University of Applied Sciences, School of Art and Media.
