Artist’s Statement
My interests as an artist concern urban environment and often include social problems and/or urban daily life – I portray alcoholics and beggers as well as the happiness and compassion. The images of these people act as a way to explore unfairness in the society, social exclusion, current social issues – and the life itself.
I´m graduated from the University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Fine Arts Lahti and I also holds a masters degree in social sciences.
With this combination as a background it´s somewhat natural to explore "the social" by the means of arts.
