Lives and works in Turku, Finland. Work is concentrated on charcoal drawing techniques and acrylic/spray painting.

I’m interested in the concept of bodily space and Being. I draw and paint people in photorealistic style, caught in a split second of time. I study the relation of the mind and the body, and the ownership of it in its physical surroundings. My work comments the word ”Freedom” as a noun that defines the right and power to be as one wants, and the state of, as a controversy, being imprisoned by the standards of others or oneself. I combine the photorealistic drawing to markmaking and tagging familiar from the graffiti street art, as a comparison to the ideal of Freedom and self-expression.

Figures that are partly visible and photorealistic while fading in the background, lead to the basic questions of existentialism: the edges of being and non-being.
