Artist’s Statement

Mari Isotalo´s works are founded on observing and contemplating. On her art she examines the problems related to different phases of life – growth, presence, letting go; the difficulty and bliss of being a human. Not only a myriad of self-examination and pain points can be observed in themes and execution of her art pieces, but also light, humor and moments of happiness.
