I look around me - in a whole world that sometimes seems fragmentary, gaudy or full of conflicts but which at its centre is love and beauty. There are an unlimited number of things, phenomena, atmospheres or states that can be found in a painting. Light and a certain degree of illumination are also important to me, and I hope to invite the viewers as well into this experience.
