Artist’s Statement
I graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree in fine arts 2008 and I have also studied textile design (Metropolia Amk), art management (Uniarts & Humak open university) and expertise in public art (Lab Yamk).
I am working mainly as a visual artist. In my artistic work I am currently focusing on art painting, jacquard weaving, pattern design and installation art. I am working with a grant from the Kone Foundation 2025-2028.
In addition, I am an active member / operative in artist-run associations and galleries like Galleria Huuto and Uute Ry (The Finnish Association Of New Textile Art).
I currently work mainly in Herttoniemi Helsinki, Finland.
