Artist’s Statement
In varying ways, my work always deals with people. Human deficiencies, confusions and shortcomings I percieve as beauty.
A woman´s life is often the subject of my sculptures; to this I have searched perspective from ancient myths and my own experiences.
I became a sculptor at a relatively old age, so this profession is a joy to me. Maybe therefore the basic idea with my art is to give positive, aesthetic insights to the scpectator.
the main materials I work with are copper and concrete, which surprisingly bends itself also to delicate forms.
