Artist’s Statement
My main themes are inner peace and inner well-being. I studied to become an art teacher, at the same time I studied photography separately as it was my main interest. I also explored how people can train their mind to be more at the present moment and experience the serenity it gives, increasing the quality of life.
In the world as it is today people have to react ever faster and adapt to increasing amounts of pictures, texts, and sounds. How can we find and experience peace of mind? This is what I study in my art, often combining photography with other art forms like painting, sculpture, sound and other things - like nature - to bring multidimensionality to my work.
