In my art I describe what I find essential and what I cannot force into words; something about the moments when you realize the absurdity of life.
Night reigns in many of my paintings: a time of subconscious dreams, a condition transforming reality into puzzled and hidden pictures.
My characters wander like strangers in an existentialist world where dreams and reality are intertwined.
To me creating art is an opportunity of absence, in another world, concentrated in one thing only, in silence, alone.
I paint with oil on chalk primed canvas using thin layered paints. With this slow technique I obtain the world of light and colour that I strive for.
In sculpture I use recycled materials in search for a way to express life in multiple dimensions.
Being human: resurrection, being different is materialized in my artworks.
