Artist’s Statement
I’ve been painting the landscape for several years now, actually always in some way.
The starting point or idea in my works is always the same. I look for things, details, compositions, colors, shapes, rhythms or contrasts. The gestures that speak to me tell me something about being in the world.
I approach the forest from the inside.
I paint forest, bush, stone and trees.
I've been wondering how to be firtree.
