Coincidence? is a performance experience that produces images.
The goal is to create a dialogue between visual arts and circus techniques. In the performance, the visual artist and the circus performer combine choreographically dramatized action and traces caused coincidentally into an aesthetic whole in front of the audience, a work that takes a new form every time.
The performance can be held either indoors or outdoors. Indoors, the performance takes place in a hall or a large room, in the middle of which the work team builds a performance tent. In the performance, a visual artist and a circus performer work with circus equipment and paints inside the tent, painting the work on paper attached to the floor with their movements. It is possible to follow the progress of the performance from outside the tent, looking inside the tent or walking around the tent.
Coincidence? is a performance concept designed to be on tour, to which an audience-participating workshop can be attached. The content of the workshop is tailored with the client separately, taking into account the target group.
