Andy Best and Merja Puustinen make works of art that engage with the body as a sensual experience. In the works of the artist couple, the viewer's body is literally immersed in an environment where touch, voice, touch, movement, balance and social community engagement become a holistic and multisensoral artistic experience. The richness of feeling, shape and colour is combined with joy and positive play. The themes of the artists’ works are sometimes provocative and controversial, while the physicality of the artwork gives the public an opportunity for collective experience. Merja and Andy's playfulness combines myths, intellectual provocation and social criticism.
