My artistry is rooted in a vivid and romantic connection to nature experienced in childhood, where vegetation is reimagined as the rooms and interiors of a palace. I am fascinated by splendor, longing, nostalgia, and timelessness—the escape from reality and the tension between change and permanence.
My works operate on the threshold between the abstract and the representative. Using the principles of the representational world, I create new, dynamic realities. My background as a Master of Science in Technology and a designer brings a structural and ornamental dimension to my intuitive process.
As an artist, I feel a deep connection to the European tradition of painting and aspire to be part of art history’s aesthetic continuum. I particularly admire the 17th- and 18th-century masters, such as Peter Paul Rubens, as well as early 20th-century modernists like Wassily Kandinsky.
Alongside traditional painting, I have programmed kinetic digital works, including the VR piece Unknown Land.
At their best, my works appear from one perspective as if they were born old, and from another, as if they have grown toward the future.
