Bio
Eeva Tiisala was born in 1952 in Helsinki. She studied in the general line at the University of Art and Design, graduating in 1981. Tiisala has held solo exhibitions since 1985 and participated in group exhibitions since 1984. His work has been shown abroad in the United States, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Yugoslavia and other countries. Tiisala's works are in the collections of Kiasma, Wihuri, Saastamoinen Foundation, Henna and Pertti Niemistö, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kotka and Kuopio. He was awarded the Pro Graphica Prize in 1989 and an honorary mention at Graphica Creativa in 1996."And nothing that was, never disappeared, like a tree that just widens its roots and its top… that I am, Life as new.
