Artist’s Statement
Artistic work has been strongly involved in all the time I've been photographing and drawing, since I was a teenager. First as a hobby, and later I focused on it completely, as well as making other art as well. I have also collaborated with other artists both in Finland and abroad.
I draw my attention to the various things around me and examine them through the means of art. Photography is the main way I make art. A documentary approach is often characteristic of my photographs. However, both in some of the photographs and in other artistic work, the senses and the feeling of how I experience objects and things are more present. I often work with series and the form of longer-term projects.
