Artist’s Statement
I have been drawing in my childhood a lot, but growing to be an artist was rather slow. Art gives joy, beauty, comfort and hope also painter himself. I have painted and drawn a lot of other kind of art works. For examble art works which Doctor of Philosophy Christina Bäcksbacka said that they are: "Naivistic-symbolistic-ekspressive".- stile This is based to the exhibitions I kept in Art Salon, Helsinki. And paintings has a figurative subject. But in the other hand the critics have called me "Naivistic - expressive. The latest artworks I have painted are between figurative and imagination. When you look them quickly they look like abstract. The round form is the picture is sun, and in the otherwise also the moon. In the painting "Between the earth and heaven", I have paint colorspaces with different kinds of combinations of color. My interest of colors bring all my works together to my production. I love hues in colors and contrasts and they are "speaking" their own language to audience. Also in my ink drawings have same kind of qualities. They can be between abstrakt and imagination. I inspired most of the spring light.
