I am a Helsinki-based visual artist working with light, moving image, and spatial installation. In my work, light functions both as a material and as a way of transforming and structuring space. I often create slowly evolving environments in which projected light, colour, architecture, and the presence of the viewer come together.

My practice explores perception, the emotional impact of colour, the experience of time, and the relationship between immaterial and physical space. I am particularly interested in how minimal visual elements can alter our experience of a space and evoke strong sensations that can be difficult to put into words.
In recent years, I have also explored my Karelian roots through my artistic practice. I work with Karelian symbolism, language, memory, and the historical layers of places, examining how cultural heritage can be approached through contemporary art. In these works, personal history intersects with broader questions of memory, belonging, and the meaning of place.'
