Artist's Statement

CONNECTION WITH NATURE

To me, working with wood means connection with nature, contact with something very ancient within us - our deepest memory.

Often my work deals with balance and peace, healing and rest. For example my sculpture "Journey" symbolizes purification of the mind. The bath is like a boat by which one makes a spiritual journey.
