Stina Koskinen is a visual artist working with sculpture and space. She observes the nature and the shapes that appear in nature, and outgoing from the observations she makes abstract sculptures. Koskinen compares the nature with human life. Through sculptures she brings out the similarities between human and nature.
In her work with space Koskinen explores how space and art can interact. She explores different ways of presenting art works in a space and how to make entities. By combining the sculptures with the space Koskinen wants to bring additional meanings to the entirety, where the sculptures play a central role.
