Artist's Statement

As a visual artist I am interested in the vulnerability and the broken condition of the modern society and its inhabitants. I want my art to have a meaning. The meaning can manifest itself as a reflection from the macroenvironment to the microenvironment, from the society down to the individuals and their lives and actions. The feelings of loneliness, uncertainty, controversy and anomy are hidden underneath the surface of superficiality. In my works these things form a certain state between existence and nonexistence.
