Artist’s Statement
Creating something new and searching for beauty has interested me since I was a child, and over the years I have tried different techniques and materials to implement my ideas, but the central form of expression has always been and remained painting. I enjoy studying and painting landscapes and nature as such, especially water surfaces, reflections, aquatic plants and natural elements floating in and above the water. I am also very interested in portraits and figurative art, where I can use visual narratives to tell both real and imagined human stories. In addition to paintings, I do botanical studies of both wild and garden plants, because working with plants gives me peace of mind and inspiration.
