Touch of time

In my artworks I represent ambiances of past time and the present. They have a dialogue.

In my latest Oasis series, the starting point is the moments in the forest. In the forest nature, nature's shapes, details and colors are in harmonious balance with each other. In the Oasis series, these elements create their own symmetrical compositions.

I work with the photogravure method of printmaking. The soft imprint of the technique beautifully reproduces shades from light to dark velvety surfaces. I draw and paint the motifs on films, which are exposed to UV light on a photosensitive plate. The artworks are printed by hand using traditional intaglio printing.
