Artist’s Statement
My current work in Indian ink involves a process of surrender to the medium of ink and water, allowing the freely flowing water to carry the black ink into apparently random forms whilst applying skillful control through tilted surfaces and gentle movement.
The resultant images evoke sensuous, sensitive spheres and appeal to the viewer´s imaginative mindscape for interpretation.
