Artist’s Statement

With the little stitches I make pictures of people. I use embroidery and combine it with oil painting, dyeing and various other techniques. As my materials I use silk, velvet, pearls, plants, tar painted wood, mirrors, sheet metal and boxes bought from flea markets, among others. I make pictures of the invisible that surrounds me but cannot be put into words.
