Artist’s Statement

With my paintings I want to create new "windows" in peoples homes and interiors. Best painting always speaks by itself and gives enjoyment to the viewers. As a painter I am the explorer. I explore new dimensions of contemporary expressionist painting. Depth and expressions. Lights and shadows with a taste of classic figurative painting. In my recent works I have been also enthusiastic about minimalism with the hint of Japanese Zen Art. After all the most effective painting is always quite simple. Colors on the canvas and the sense of something unspeakable that shows its forms and rises emotions.

As a painter I believe in making moments eternal. That can happen only trough art. Thats why I love to paint.

I am also a Headmaster in Lapinlahti Art School. The school offers contemporary Painting Courses for painters and Art Workshops for companies in Lapinlahti area.
