Artist’s Statement

I listen the world through the acts of drawing. My work takes a comprehensive look at it as a means to make contact and collaboratively explore our experience of the world, touching and being touched, invaded and pierced by the world. I am interested in the limits of ones body and environment, the ways we try to define and control them.

The body of my work combines multidisciplinary drawing practice, live performances and installation art. My performances have participatory aspect: In my work, the drawing is always done together with things: Lines are in open dialogue with space, materials, movements and sounds to stay in flux, growing, overlapping and vanishing endlessly.

When working, I am reaching the space between energy and emotion. When I am drawing I am willing to become an active listener.
