Artist’s Statement
"Artinaho’s drawings often arise from memories, rarely anything that is directly visible. His drawing process is narrative. He begins without any predefined plan for the finished piece. The pen sets out on its adventure from somewhere along the paper’s edge. The drawing of one detail leads to the next as Artinaho progresses intuitively along the network of lines, submersing himself in a multiplicity of images. The subjects may surface from the depths of his memory, yet the story is always new and unprecedented – even for the artist himself. "
