Artist’s Statement

The themes behind my work include nature, time, memories, and the fragility of life, but also its resilience. My works are like imaginary landscapes or selected extracts depicting details of life and nature. I use materials such as fibers, thread, cloth and paper, combined with things I collect in the forest or on the shore, like leaves, branches or roots. I enjoy freely mixing different textiles and natural materials using different techniques.
