Artist’s Statement
I am a multi-worker of the art; I paint, draw, build, rephrase, demolish. I use materials which I manage to collect a lot of. The ensemble is composed of parts, fragments and repetition. I become inspired by the quantity because the sorting and the arrangement will bring security and rhythm to my tentative style of working.
I work by researching and will give the coincidence to do its own part. I believe in the intelligence and random logic which lie behind the chaos. I want to work without any particular plans and just let my hands lead me. I tend to be an aberrant observer who, in the right moment, sticks to the tip that pops up on the surface and then pulls it out into the time and place.
I am fascinated by the unseen worlds and the timeless places. I ponder in my works also the strangeness of being human and the experience of being an outsider. In my works there is often present a lonely figure, the witness, who as if like assures that the event or place where he is, is in its unreality true.
