Bio

Marja- Elina Uusitupa (b.1957) is a multidisciplinary artist combining and mixing mediums: Photos, painting, environmental art, site specific art, earth art, installations, new media and soundscapes.
Her themes of art are: people, human nature, time, space, environment and socio-environmental space.
Marja-Elina Uusitupa holds MA from University of Art and Design, Department for Art Education Helsinki Finland. She is a Painter studied in Free Art School, Helsinki. Art Management, Cultural Entrepreneurship Study Module, SibA, Helsinki 2013-2014.

She has exhibited her artworks in Finland and abroad since 1987. Curated and solo exhibitions in Finland, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden, Russia, Hungary, New York USA, Italy and Tokyo.
