Artist’s Statement
I am an artist photographer and visual artist. I have a Master of Arts -degree (2004) from the University of Art and Design Helsinki (Aalto University).
I'm working mainly with photograph, but also installations, video and fine arts. The main focus is in landscape. I react to the current events in the surrounding world and comment it with my artwork. I have been exhibiting my works in many solo and group exhibitions in Finland and abroad, participated in artist residencies in Northern Finland and Norway, Finnish Archipelago and in Italy. I have artworks in public and private collections in Finland and abroad.

I am also a member of Taiteilijakollektiivi Kunst (Artist Collective Kunst) which curates and coordinates the exhibitions and events in Gallery Lapinlahti, a gallery of contemporary art in Helsinki. Kunst organizes also it´s own group exhibitions, and artistic interventions.
