Intimacy is a 18-channel sound installation, a collaboration with the Nomad Vocals Choir. The work consists of 18 speakers, each with its own unique singing sound. Together, the speakers form a choir. The speakers form a sphere where the audience can walk and get to know the individual singers and the choir as a whole. The installation brings out the better angels of being human, where we can come together and seek connection with another. This otherness can be understood as another person, time or world. Together, a state of intimacy is created in which the choir members take part with their own unique voice. The installation has no duration.
