The concept of this series was inspired by the teachings of the Swedish St.Birgitta They were summarised by a researcher in one sentence: In order to become Maria, you have first to be Martha.
meaning that everyday tasks have to be taken care before one can concentrate to (Spiritual) studies.
The photos are taken in Rome and in Puumala, Finland.
There are about 20 photographs(performances for camera) and 2 video works.
