FILM. Negretina, is an experimental short film about the 1920s and 30s in Europe based on found footage film material. The film is based on original 1920s and 1930s Pathé film material in 9.5mm format. The music for the film, a classical, contemporary piece for orchestra and choir, Agua Nocturna, is composed by Lasse Enersen (FIN). The 1920s and 1930s in Europe was an era of strong political changes, economical downturn and the rise of right-wing politics and fascism in Germany. In the focus of the found footage is a small girl called Negretina. Combining different styles of the era, the film depicts impressions from a time in history.
