Sampo Kaikkonen: Serenity
The painting resembles a religious subject because of the golden halo and in the beginning that was the idea. During the painting process it had a temporary title "St. Theresa". But during the process it became more and more a picture of inner peace. Kind of a personal religion independent of all others. So it is not really a religious painting but a painting of inner peace and innocence.
