Moireeni does not reveal itself at a single glance. Eight kilometers of wooden planks form angled surfaces across three façades of the building, generating a moiré effect. The work is not an image, but an event that unfolds through the viewer’s movement and shifting perspective.
Up close, the surface appears as organic material and diagonal directionality; from a distance, it begins to vibrate and take shape as a three-dimensional interference pattern.
Moireeni must be experienced on site — it rewards time and movement without imposing itself.
