Artist’s Statement
In the blue soft light, the characters in my pictorial world tell their own story of humanity, desires and feelings. Nature creates its own quiet networks, allowing light to reflect emotions.
Art takes its form from life and the thoughts crystallize from the invisible to the visible, sleep and the world of wakeness mix into a view like philosophy and poetry.
As a technique, I use traditional etching and woodcut techniques. Sometimes i try also another materials. It detaches work from the more familiar steps and always evokes something new and supports the old. Sometimes you have to go further to get back close.
I draw etchings directly on the copperplate without sketching; I make works with the flow idea. It is important that the subconscious mind speaks freely.
Work lives on, through the process of its final form.
