Life is a process. The environment changes, I myself change. Not one moment is like another. This constantly changing, unlimited, flowing state of change is what I describe in my paintings. The colours are essentially important. While there are often many of them in a single painting, they must appear as if they were harmonized and united by the light that illuminates them all. The impulses often come from the unconscious, while intuition together with conscious mind direct how I proceed. Although the events in life as well as on canvas constantly change, there is a struggle towards some kind of a firm centre, in the core of which are openness, sincerity and readiness to change.
