Artist’s Statement
Soile Mottisenkangas is a multidisciplinary media artist and film director specializing in documentary style. At the core of her work is a deep belief in the inherent value of life, which is why she focuses on telling individual human stories in their own environments.

Short creative documentary film, Yötyön zen, was released 2020. The film won the award Best experimental documentary, with Close:up Edinburgh Docufest in Scotland.
