Bio
Jenni Haili (b. 1980) is a Helsinki based visual artist who graduated from the Aalto University School of Art and Design in 2011. She works with a multitude of techniques, mainly basing her works on photography. In her works Haili links the form and media to the concept of the piece in a significant manner. Her works continue the feminist art history both by the choice of concepts and materials. A reoccurring theme in her work is a play with showing and hiding. Haili’s works have been shown in several solo and group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. She also works as a part time teacher in the Art University Helsinki’s Academy of Fine Arts.
