Marko Acton Saarelainen: Aina mun pitää
Punk band Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät represented Finland in the Eurovision song contest 2015. I was so excited about it that I wanted to paint a canvas from the charismatic singer of the band, Kari Aalto. I did two versions of the painting, one brown-toned and one red-toned. Both had the same letter section included, "Act HRC" which was based on a graffiti I painted in 1994. The reddish painting was on display at "Asko 2015" group exhibition in Lahti, the brown one I gave to Kari Aalto himself.
