Festone is a series of paintings inspired by a wall paintings in Case Romane del Celio representing an ancient harvesting feast. Different parts seem to be connected by white pearls. Pearls are of four size each size referring to one of four different bases in DNA (atcg). They carry genetic information derived from human genome (ref. NCBI database/Homo Sapiens).
