An experimental film work combining poetry, music and moving image.

The work is based on a poetry-music work of the same name by Teemu Hirvilammi and Ari Taskinen (from the album Asfalttia ja ruohoa, 2001 Sammakko) .

I executed this work on film material by eg. painting, scratching, exposing and developing film in a dark room.

I used materials collected from nature, such as dandelion seeds, leaves of plants, mosses and dead mosquitos. Additionally I used various gauzes, nets, pantyhoses, cellophane and other found material and images shot on 16mm film.

1st prize, Videoformes, Clermont-Ferrand, France.
