A big red Truck with grey Concrete Elements stopped by trafic lights . It was a dark winter night. I photographed it a lot. An aquarell was born.
My themes by these works are connected with parenthood and trucks and other big machines. I continue with the same themes I have been working on previously. Colours and the physicality of the act of painting are part of the narrative.
My paintings are born of various transient moments that have left some kind of imprint on me. As a child I was nearly run over by a truck but my mother managed to save me just in time. I survived and I think this is the reason I paint.
