Ascent at Dawn is a multi-part sculpture that spreads across the façade of the Sarastuskaari parking facility, its appearance shifting as you move along the street. Approached from one direction, the butterflies appear in orange-red tones; from the other, they take on a pale bluish hue. Although the work is rooted in the colours of car headlights and taillights, these hues also evoke the light of daybreak.
